Hi, I’m Ann.
I have more than 20 years’ experience in education, at all elementary levels.
In addition to library lessons, I taught many English Language Arts skills such as reading comprehension, synonyms and antonyms, and rhyming words. My students loved learning about technology, including coding. They engaged in STEM projects in our Maker Space.
My Experience
I have two master’s degrees, one in English Literature and one in Library and Information Science. I oversaw a major renovation of a 1950s library that had no automation and even an old card catalog! I was the first teacher in my district to get both Level I and Level II Google Educator certification. Since they eliminated the computer labs in my school, I have taught students how to use Google Apps such as Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, and other programs. In my Teachers pay Teachers (TpT) store and elsewhere, I design and create print and digital educational activities.
Little Library of Learning
My blog will show you how to manage a library, celebrate special occasions, nurture kids’ love of literature, and use the fun, educational products I offer in my TpT store.
I live in New York with my cocker spaniel Kilian. And my favorite thing to do is visit the library!
